Georgia Eyeliner brush isn't as good but it may be because mine is old. Crease/contouring brush good but to stir other brushes are great.

Rachel I ABSOLUTELY LOVE these brushes. I'll splurge on eyeshadow palettes all of the time, but I can't stand dropping more than 10 bucks on a single brush. So, when I came across this kit, I was skeptical yet intrigued. It visually stood out to me from other brushes that quite frankly, looked a little cheap. The bristles are dense yet soft, and even though they DO pick up product well, I didn't find the application amount to be satisfactory for me. However, you can use a cheap eyeshadow brush and it's fine. However, it is undebatable that the brushes distribute the shadow perfectly and evenly. Usually when I blend, I find that the bristles will pick up some color and then deposit it elsewhere, so I really have to work the brush to not have a spotty crease color. This is pretty much why I bought the set; watching tutorials online, I noticed that most women use a soft domed brush for blending. Yup! The base shadow brush has become my crease's best friend. The great thing is that there is a variety of brushes; it's not like some kits where you get several that look very similar and are just different sizes. If you are even considering buying brushes, I'd get these. The great thing, especially if you are a "starter", is that there is a website by the designer with tutorials, so you can learn how to do makeup with the very brushes you own. I wish I had that luxury in the beginning. Also, doing the crease/outer v is typically hard for beginners, and you'll be able to do it like a pro with these brushes. I've gotten good at it on brushes that take me so much longer to do it. This has literally cut my application time in half. I hope you enjoy these, and that this is helpful, especially since I know I'm rambling.

Yammy These are the best eyeshadow brushes you can buy for the price. They beat out the competitions costing the same for just one brush. The bristles are so soft, they clean up easy and there's no shedding. They blend very well and deposit color adequately. I'll be buying more in the future.

Violetta I own brushes from just about every line you can image but have never been as impressed as I've been with these (a close second are my Urban Decay brushes). The bristles are so wonderfully soft but not so much that blending is a pain, they do it just right. These pick up and deposit color without having to dip and re-dip. I'm truly impressed. I was so giddy that I went on to purchase the entire line of Real Technique brushes and a second set of these as a back up. Do not hesitate, buy these...you will be happy you did.

Also, if anyone has MAC brushes I want to note that this line sheds way less than MACs but they're still a fraction of the cost. I've now converted a number of my fellow MUAs and they all note how incredible these brushes are.

smokey I was finally able to grab this set, every place who carries them, were on back order or something, anyway, I grabbed this up, this is the Best Set of eye brushes I have ever owned, including MAC! Extremely easy to use, grabs just enough product, the final look is always Fantastic, you cant go wrong with this Set, everything you need is in this set to create the perfect eye look you want. If you buy anything from Real Techniques, I recommend this set first as sometimes this set is hard to find, grab when you see it, then the Core Set is a must have as well. I am going to buy more sets to have on hand as for the Price of these, you simply cannot wrong. Love Real Technique products, Ladies you have to try them.

sandypandy If you're on the fence, trying to figure out whether you want to buy these or not, then let me tip ya over! These brushes, I---I don't even know where to begin. They are utterly AMAZING. They're so so easy to use. Easy to maneuver and create different styes with, very versatile. They also pack on a lot of pigment, I don't have to use a lot of product to have pigmented lids! Cleaning them will not be a hassle, and don't they shed a bit. They are so soft, softer than [@]brushes. For being so cheap, they really are great and quite a steal.and every one of these brushes are functional to the kit as a whole, so if you are on the go you can definitely manage a great look with just this eye kit.

esloan I have been wearing eye makeup for over 10 years and I never thought a different kind of "brush" would really make that much difference.. I was WRONG! I am not an expert makeup artist, I'm just a makeup enthusiast. Purchasing this kit is something I should have done a long time ago! I have regular eye shadow brushes that work just fine to apply eye shadow, but you can do things with these brushes I never even thought about! They apply color so evenly. They blend colors so awesomely (if that's even a word..). They are super soft, easy to use, and easy to clean. I haven't had a chance to use the liner brush but it looks pretty good, maybe a little thick. The brow brush is soft but stiff enough to do a great job. The case is fantastic! It folds up to keep eveything inside and you can bend half of it over so it stands up. Pretty cool. I'm on my way to purchase the rest of Real Techniques brushes/sets. If you're hesitating on purchasing this, don't. Most women (sometimes me..) pay more than this for 1 eyeshadow or liner, it's well worth it.

Cat_Zombeebabee I have literally been debating these brushes for MONTHS! I have heard so many good reviews and several bad that have really effected my decision. I regret not buying them earlier! SO affordable and SO worth it! These are the absolute BEST makeup brushes I have ever purchased. I am planning to get the face brushes as well! I have small eyes so I was also very concerned about the shadow brush (rumors said it was HUGE) but to my surprise it is perfect! It picked up the shadow amazingly (NO FALLOUT!!) and swept across my entire lid covering it perfectly in no time! The crease brush is absolutely amazing as well! Same with the brow brush I was having the worse luck achieving the perfect arch but this brush makes my brows look 100X better than ever! If you're procrastinating buying these like I was DON"T! Trust me you will love these!!! <3

ereyes6116 Okay, so one might say I needed these brushes like a hole in the.... seeing as I seem to have every brush known to man, i.e. MAC, Kevyn Aucoin, Stila, Bobbi Brown, Sonya Kashuk, Laura Mercier, ELF, yes the list goes on.

Anyhow, being the brush hoarder that I am I just had to have these too and I'm so happy I bought these. It's an outstanding set of brushes, with a dense yet soft feel. They apply eyeshadow beautifully, and it's so easy to get a pigmented look with them.

As others have said, the deluxe crease brush is worth the price of the entire kit alone, and I actually plan on buying another kit for this very purpose, so I can have a back-up, I love it that much. I've never used a crease brush that made it so easy to cover the entire crease, yet leave a sufficient amount of lid showing. I would usually appy eyelid color, then crease, then the crease would run a bit much into the lid, so I would do it 2 or 3 times to get the balance just right. With this, I just apply lid color, then apply crease color, and done. If RT is reading this, please make these available for individual sale!!

I also love the eyeliner brush, and I didn't think I would, but I tried this with an Ulta gel liner that I'd been having trouble with when trying at least 4 or 5 other brushes of various lines and with this one, perfection. Applied it just right, with no skipping, etc. The base eyeshadow brush is great too, with a lovely feel to it. About the only brush I do not see myself using much is the angled one, and that's because I feel it's a little thick to use on my eyebrows, but you never know, I may use this for something else down the line.

Can you tell how much I love these RT brushes? Even if you're like me and have a million and one brushes, you need these as well, you will not be sorry.
