Omega Product is very easy to use and gives a great finish. It is definitely not the beauty blender but its the closet thing to it but for the price I'd recommend this product over the beauty blender

ReesieCherie I absolutely love this! When I came across this on the website, I thought is this another generic hard like sponge, or is this another real deal or cheaper alternative to the beauty blender! I bought it, and I loved it. At first I didn't know what I was doing because there were no directions. To dampen or not to dampen, so I tried both ways and yes you are suppose to dampen it. For those who are a budget buyer like myself, this is gonna be your best friend! It blends the same as a beauty blender, gives you amazing flawless coverage, and such a healthy glow. Amazing for all skin types and a bonus for those who have dry skin like me, because when dampen it adds extra moisture to the skin. The only con is, it is hard to wash, and it takes longer to get the soap out. Also when squeezing it compared to the beauty blender you will notice it loses its shape a little while the beauty blender stays in tact! I'm afraid it may give up on me early, but overall you get a bang for your buck and can't beat the price! I have a full on review and beauty blender comparison on my channel http://www.youtube.com/ReesieCherie I would love your feedback!

Kelsey I have always wanted to get a beauty blender but i just couldn't get myself to pay almost $25 for a sponge! Its rediculous at how many people pay that much. So when I found this I HAD to get it. I bought this months ago and it is still holding strong! My makeup just doesn't look the same unless I use it. It says you can use it wet or dry but I personally like to run it under some water before I use it. One complaint I saw when looking at the reviews to see if I should buy it was that it stains easily, well I kind of thought that that was a given, considering its a sponge that you're putting foundation on, no duh it is going to stain. But if you really can't handle a stained sponge there is an easy solution. Instead of trying to clean it in just water or regular soap, use face wash instead! I just put some on my hand and rubbed it into the sponge and rinsed the makeup right off. It looked good as new! Almost exactly how it looked when I took it out of the box! The only thing is that if you're not too gentle with it when cleaning, it can tear really easily, so be careful when washing the sponge. I can say that I will never buy a beauty blender now that I have this and I am happy that I found this before I convinced myself to buy a beauty blender!

Aly I use this to apply foundation as well as under eye concealer and I absolutely love it. I used to use the Beauty Blender but that was pretty pricey. I actually like this sponge way more (it's much softer and fluffier) and it is a fraction of the price. Ladies, go get yourself one of these ASAP.

eileenK I've used cheap flat round sponges to apply my make-up for ages, but when I saw videos of the amazing blending sponges, I had to get one....only I wasn't going to spend $20 on one. And with this gem, I don't have to! I never thought using a damp sponge would work so well, but it's brilliant. A flawless application of my foundation and concealer. I don't use the flat side often, but all the contours are a nice option to have.

callmeashley I've been debating writing this review for a while because it differs from the popular opinion. Many people say that this sponge is comparable to the Beauty Blender and others prefer this sponge over the Beauty Blender. I actually dislike this sponge and don't think it's a good investment.

I've purchased this sponge three times now because I was hoping that I had just received a bad sponge. However, I'm starting to believe that what I'm experiencing is the norm for the Real Techniques sponge.

The sponge starts off performing very well. It's soft, squishy, and bounces comfortably off the face when applying makeup... that is, for a short while. I've noticed that all of my sponges lose their shape after about 5 washes and then it becomes a pain to use. After dampening the sponge and wringing it out, the sponge holds dents from my fingers rather than bouncing back like it should. The dents in the sponge make it hard to get an even application when applying makeup.

I love the sponge at first but three different sponges have started losing their shape after less than a months worth of use/washing.

I purchased my original Beauty Blender in a pack of 2 and the first sponge has lasted over 8 months with almost daily washing. It has never lost its shape and it performs like the first time, every time.

I think that the Real Techniques sponge is worth trying due to the low price point but I do not think it can compare to the Beauty Blender. It provides similar results but because it loses its shape so quickly, it loses its ability to be a multi-tasking product. I use my Beauty Blender to apply concealer, foundation, blush, highlight, and powder. The Real Techniques sponge I can really only use for foundation and concealer because not all sides of the sponge can blend product flawlessly due to the dents retained from my fingers wringing the sponge out.

Tish I was going to buy the beauty blender but I'm glad I didn't. The coverage you get using this is amazing and the flat part fits your face so nicely. This is something I would use daily if I actually wore makeup like that. But I all I need is powder so this I kind of unnecessary now. But it's the best thing for foundation...... and your pockets.

Makeuplover This is my first make up sponge ever. I've been reading reviews about this sponge vs the famous sponge. I didn't want to spend that much money on a sponge and I'm glad I didn't!! I bought this because lately my face became dry and I usually use a brush to apply my make up but lately my foundation wasn't blending right, so I tried this method. It's pretty nice and I really like how my foundation looks whenever I use this. It blended pretty nice and I like the flat side for applying my foundation all over my face and concealer as well and the pointy end for my blemishes. It's a good alternative for the pricier one!! Hope this helps!!

Makeup Junkie This sponge is an awesome dupe for the beauty blender. I had previously been using the beauty blender before trying this sponge. I did not want to continue paying $20+ for a sponge and beauty blender cleanser. I started reading reviews searching for a dupe and came across this one. This sponge is softer than the beauty blender and provides the same type of usages. I will never go back to using the beauty blender when I can get the same tool for 1/3 the price. I do like the shape of this sponge much better than the beauty blender, especially the slanted end which is really useful for applying foundation & getting into tough spots like around your nose. I use the pointed end for blending concealer under my eyes. I ALWAYS use this sponge damp - I get the most flawless finish that way. If you're wanting to use it to apply loose powder I would use it dry. I use my liquid facial cleanser for cleaning the sponge and it works just fine. One important note that I have when purchasing this sponge is that it seems to come in two different textures. One texture is the dupe texture to the beauty blender. I would describe the texture as airy and fluffy. The other texture is what a white triangle latex wedge sponge looks like. Very dense & does not perform well when wet. I learned this by buying the latex textured one. When wet, the sponge gets very deformed and is not usable. I returned this one and purchased the other texture and get fantastic results. Please note that both textures are the same shape, size, & color. You'll only be able to tell the difference by examining the texture through the packaging. Become familiar with what the beauty blender's texture looks like and you should have no problem.
